Previous Story:

A man and a child were pulled from the ocean in Atlantic Beach early Tuesday afternoon.

One witness reported AB EMS performing CPR on the man. A second witness reported that the beach warning flag in that area was red at the time, indicating dangerous swimming conditions. Other areas of the beach were flying yellow flags, indicating moderate risk.

It has not been confirmed whether or not rip current was a factor in this incident.

This is the fourth water rescue on the banks this year so far. Three people died in two separate incidents in Emerald Isle over the past few weeks.

This is a developing story.
