The November General Meeting of The Beaufort Garden Club will be held on Nov. 7 from 9:30 until 11 am at the Ann Street UMC Eure Building, 500 Ann Street.
If you have ever awakened stiff or sore after a day of digging in the dirt you will not want to miss this one! Wear some loose-fitting comfortable clothes and soft soled shoes, and be prepared to learn some effective seated and standing yoga stretches that you can do before and after gardening. Your neck, shoulders, and lower back will thank you!
The program, “Gardening Yoga” will be conducted by two of our club members who are yoga teachers, Nikki Dunn and Cindy Cash. Kristin Martin, the owner of Momentum Yoga in Morehead City, will be our special guest. Please join us and bring a friend! We’re always happy to have new members. Refreshments will be served from 9:30 until 10:00 pm and be followed by our program.
Our New Member Luncheon will follow at Clawson’s at 11:30 am and is sold out. Our mission and projects will be presented to our 20 plus new members and our older members will discuss the history of our club. The new Digital Member Directory is expected to be announced, as well.
